Poland: rebuilding the country’s main carriageway (launching work on the first segment)

Eurovia Polska will build a new section of national route 75 (and european route E75) on the Brzesko-Nowy Sącz segment (in southern Poland), known as the “Brzesko connector”. This national route is the country’s most important carriageway and connects the ports of Gdańsk and Gdynia to the industrial region of upper Silesia.

This design-build project includes the construction of a 3-kilometre interchange linking current national routes 94 and 75, thereby creating a bypass west of Brzesko, a city in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship with a population of 16,000. Three bridges will also be built.

This is the first stage of a 50-kilometre reconstruction project on this national route.

The project should span three years.
