
THE WINCHESTER OFFICE OF NORWEST HOLST’S BUILDING DIVISION (part of VINCI PLC) has been awarded a £10 million contract to design and build a new 5,000 sq metre display hall at The Tank Museum in Bovington, Dorset. The new display hall will house the biggest and best collection of tanks in the world and is a key element of The Tank Museum’s £16 million Heritage Lottery Fund sponsored redevelopment project, titled At Close Quarters.With the new display hall due to open in spring 2008, the museum will continue to remain open to the public throughout the construction period, exceptfor a short time between October 2007 and January 2008.
