Following a call for tenders, ASF has appointed the consortium headed by GTM TP Lyon (lead contractor) and notably including Dodin Campenon Bernard and VINCI Construction Terrassement to design and build four viaducts in central France, on the Balbigny – La Tour-de-Salvagny section of the A89 motorway. The first contract concerns the Le Buvet and La Brévenne viaducts, near the municipality of L’Arbresle. The second covers the Le Gonon and Le Bernand viaducts, near Balbigny. The four structures vary in length between 220 m and 311 m, and are comprised of two decks, each providing three traffic lanes (in the case of the first three viaducts) or two traffic lanes (on the last named viaduct). The works, valued at €45m, will get under way this autumn, with handover scheduled for late 2011
