"I joined the company when I graduated from the Institut National de Plongée Professionnelle diving school. By law, we are allowed to dive for three hours a day to perform maintenance work on marine or inland waterway structures. I am currently working on locks in Boulogne sur Mer, replacing the guide rails of a valve. Diving is a vocation. It is a physically demanding but fascinating job. You have to be constantly adapting to the environment. You are a foreign body working in a different dimension and you never know what you will encounter down there. Ultimately, what we do is explore, and I really enjoy that. Diving the way we commute to work."
